This week's Muffin Tin Meal includes 3 Wholesome Vegetables and some meat I'd defrosted from a Beef Stew. Whenever I make a Beef Stew, I remove a portion of meat and freeze it for a quick protein option for Mr 20 months. The broccoli and cauliflower were microwaved from a bag of frozen vegetables and the carrot was simply sliced!
For the carbohydrate portion I was super lazy and poured a small portion of cheerios (shhh don't tell anyone!) and then sliced some banana for a little sweetness. Of course he went for the banana first - just as he did with his Green Muffin Tin Meal last week!
You can find a similar Muffin Tin to the one used in the Meat and 3 Vegetables Muffin Tin Meal here:

ReplyDeleteYummy tin. My son would eat Cheerios at every meal if I let him :)
ReplyDeleteCheerios are a big favorite in our house! I guess the goodness in the rest of the meal balances the sugar in the Cheerios!!
ReplyDeleteGood idea to put aside some meat from the stew. Looks like a great, healthy muffin tin lunch!
