Duck on a Lake Bento Lunchbox

Took the boys to the park the other day and all the ducks were standing in a line on the edge of the lake. Looks like a choreographed squad of synchronized swimmers about to take a delicate leap into the water, don't you think?

Was quite a sight to see and the boys have talked about nothing but the ducks in a line since. I incorporated the ducks into that day's Bento Lunch Box, with a little apple duck floating on an apple lake (well, it's a chick from a Sprintime Bento Cutter Set, so we used our imagination!)

Also included in the Bento Lunchbox is a triangular bowl of pasta topped with leftover meat and a carrot from a recent beef stew, also two little star cups - one with carrots the other with corn.
