The weather is warming up here in Melbourne, which means the blender has come out from it’s Winter Hibernation and I’ve gotten back into making Smoothies and Milkshakes for the boys.
Yes, I could have happily made cold treats for us through the Winter, but we indulged in countless Raw Treats Instead!
This Chocolate Banana Milkshake is simple and delicious. I regularly freeze chopped bananas once they become super-ripe and save them specifically for bringing a creamy, icy quality to milkshakes and smoothies – like this one.
- 1 Frozen Banana, Chopped
- 1 Fresh Banana, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Cocoa
- 1.5 Cups Milk Of Choice
- 2/3 Cup Yoghurt
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Scrape down the sides then blend again until smooth and frothy to your liking,
