This Turmeric Smoothie Recipe is so deeply nourishing and revitalizing that you’re going to want to make it over and over and over again.

 

We love smoothies in our house and we love turmeric recipes, so putting the two together was inevitable! I enjoy a golden milk or turmeric tea from time to time, so I was curious to see how a soothing smoothie with turmeric blended through would turn out. The results were amazing!

Turmeric is definitely the star of this dish, with the other ingredients complementing and bringing out the best of the turmeric flavour.

Regarding the fruit – in this instance I used both frozen mangoes and frozen banana which resulted in a refreshing and creamy smoothie. You could use one frozen ingredient and one fresh if you prefer. For example, if mangoes are in season where you are, then a fresh mango and frozen banana would be amazing!
