Egg Roll In A Bowl Recipe - Low Carb, Keto Diet

I stumbled on this dish while searching for inspiration on pinterest one day and found so many yummy variations. I came up with my own combination of low carb, keto friendly ingredients that we love and that’s what I’m sharing with you today.

For my version of Egg Roll In A Bowl, I’ve gone with simple flavours, though you can adapt the recipe to your taste and dietary requirements with the following variations:

  • Ginger
  • Coriander/Cilantro
  • Carrot
  • Mix and match the mince

The flavours in this dish are SENSATIONAL. The flavours work perfectly together and you just won’t get enough of it!

Egg Roll In A Bowl Recipe

  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 500g/1.1lbs Beef Mince
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 a Head of Cabbage, finely sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Tamari or Soy Sauce
  • 2-3 Spring Onions, Chopped
  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large frying pan over medium to high heat.
  2. When hot add the beef mince, salt & pepper to taste and minced garlic.
  3. Stir to combine and cook until the mince has browned.
  4. Once the mince has browned, add the cabbage and tamari.
  5. Stir to combine and cook until the cabbage has softened and cooked through.
  6. Once cooked to your liking, stir through the spring onions and serve.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
