I’ve been feeling myself coming down with a cold. My throat has been sore and I’ve felt generally run down. This crazy Melbourne weather of 4 seasons in a day (literally!) doesn’t help…

 

So, instead of feeling sorry for myself, I turned to the kitchen as I often do and sought to create a dish that would be nourishing, invigorating and help me heal ASAP. And that’s exactly what this turmeric cauliflower rice recipe does. It knocks a strong turmeric punch and soothes just as craved.

Turmeric Cauliflower Rice Recipe + Video - Low Carb, Keto Diet - an easy, healthy nourishing cauliflower rice recipe that can be dairy free & paleo too!

Turmeric Cauliflower Rice Recipe

  • 1 Head of Cauliflower
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1/2 Cup Milk of Choice (I used Coconut Milk & Almond Milk)
  • Coconut Oil or Butter, for frying
  1. Rice the cauliflower either in a food processor or by hand using a grater.
  2. Heat the coconut oil or butter in a large frying pan.
  3. When hot add the garlic, turmeric and seasoning to taste.
  4. When fragrant, add the riced cauliflower.
  5. Stir to combine and then pour over the milk of choice.
  6. Cook until softened to cooked through to your liking.
  7. Remove from the frying pan and serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 Head of Cauliflower
