Rice Mold Tutorial

Rice Molds are a cute way to present rice to kids. It’s a little more fun than an ordinary rice mound and my kids always enjoy it!

First, make your rice of choice and allow it to cool to a temperature you’re comfortable with serving to the kids.

Fill the rice mold with the rice. Press it down firmly.


Flip over and gently press out your rice shape. In this case a rice heart.

I served this rice heart with cooked chicken, carrots, corn and a few cherry tomatoes on Bento Picks.

If you’re grain free then you can use cauliflower rice instead of traditional rice in these cute rice molds.
